Front Office

Additions (parent volunteers) are an asset to Lake Whitney Elementary School. Before going into the classrooms we request all parents to sign in at the front office and to put on an ADDitions or visitors badge. This is for the safety of our children. If you are planning to pickup your child early from school, please check-in with the front office. Photo identification is needed to match parent with child. For the safety of your child, students will not be released 30 minutes prior to dismissal. It is very important your child knows how to go home after school. Informing your child of dismissal changes needs to be phoned in one hour prior to dismissal. These procedures are implemented for the safety of your child.

Clinic

We are very fortunate that our PTA and "Nickels for Nurses" program provides the school with a nurse. Car Loop

For student safety, students should not arrive before 8:20 a.m. as there are no adults to supervise until that time. Upon arrival, students are to walk to their assigned area near their classroom. At the end of the day, car riders are dismissed to the front of the building and sit in their designated grade level location. Car Duty Teacher and other teachers supervise the students' departure. Parents need to have the appropriate sign in the front window of the car. Otherwise, the parent will need to park and come to the office for the child to be released. The "official" Lake Whitney sign is sent home the first day of school or can be picked up at the front office
